1. Introduction

IAA Tech developed the QR Code Scanner & Decoder app as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by IAA Tech at no cost and is intended for use as is. This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

2. Information Collection and Use

The QR Code Scanner relies on your device's Camera hardware to scan barcodes and QR codes. The scanned data is processed locally on your device to decode the information embedded within the code (such as URLs, contact cards, or text). We do not record video or capture hidden photos.

The app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:

• Google Play Services
• AdMob
• Firebase Crashlytics

3. Local Storage

The app may keep a history of your past scans or allow you to save specific QR codes to your local file system using the Android FileProvider. This history and data are isolated to your device and are never backed up or transmitted to IAA Tech repositories.

4. Log Data

In case of an error in the app, we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This may include your device IP address, device name, operating system version, and the time/date of your use of the Service.

5. Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information and strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Changes are effective immediately upon being posted on this page.
